All courses used to meet the mathematics minor requirements must be completed with a grade of C- or better and may not be taken using the S/U grading scheme. One course in the Applied Mathematics and Statistics Department (EN.553.xxx at the 300-level or above) may be substituted for one of the elective courses for the minor. One or two credit math courses may not apply. No other course substitutions are allowed. One of the courses used to satisfy this requirement may be from the Applied Mathematics and Statistics Department (AMS). This would be a course designated EN.553.3xx or above.
