Northwestern University Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences 1 courses 7 total credits
The Department of German offers minors in German, German Studies, and Business German. Students take 7 courses, including up to 4 courses from a year abroad, or 2 courses from a semester abroad. The minors are designed to help students develop a coherent set of courses in accordance with their own interests in German language, literature, thought, culture, politics, and business practices. The German Studies minor is for students with limited German language skills who are interested in learning more about German culture, literature, and thought. Double-counting note: Weinberg College allows double-counting a prerequisite course for a minor toward some other major or minor, or general bachelor's degree requirement. Other programs or schools may have their own restrictions that supersede this, so check the relevant parts of this catalog for possible limits.
