Additional Curriculum Information
Students should see the academic unit for an approved list of elective coursework. It is strongly recommended that students take an optional career coaching course through WPC 502. This course does not count for credit but strengthens students' experience and helps them build skills for their future careers. For their culminating experience, students find local companies; work in assigned groups to analyze the problems that these companies are facing; and come up with practical, relevant solutions. Faculty members involved in the program are assigned to each group as the project advisor. At the end of the project, students write their own paper on the project and are evaluated individually.
