An opportunity for students to conduct faculty-supervised research for academic credit. Students must take the initiative to negotiate the opportunity. BNL and other scientists may be allowed as co-supervisors. Research proposals must be prepared by the student and submitted for approval by the supervising faculty before the beginning of the credit period. An account of the work and the results achieved is submitted to the supervisor before the end of the credit period. 0-6 credits Prerequisite: Permission of department
