Comprehensive coverage of Portland cement concrete materials. Topics include cement and aggregate properties, chemical and mineral admixtures, concrete microstructure and the effects of chemical and mechanical properties, durability issues, concrete construction, and special concretes. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Pre/Corequisites: Graduate standing, and a materials course.
