About This Program

The program emphasizes addressing academic and socioemotional concerns and prepares you to become a licensed professional counselor in Arizona and other states with comparable licensure requirements. Upon completion of the program, you may apply for a School Counselor, PreK-12 Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education and you are also eligible to pursue a license in mental health counseling through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
